Funny how 8-10 hours as an eating frame seems so restricted to most people, when you think about institutionalized (hospital, nursing home) meal times - Breakfast no earlier than 7:30 or 8 am, dinner no later than 4 or 4:30, so maximum of 9 hours per day.

Do people in the hospital, or living in a nursing home feel like they're forced to stay within a restricted "eating window"?

I don't do IF, but some days I do find myself naturally just done with eating for the day about 8-10 hours from the time I started to eat breakfast. I'm beginning to think that without the constant stream of excessive carbs spiking blood sugar and insulin, our bodies will often naturally limit the number of hours we even feel like eating.
