* My daughter Kel has been bugging me to come run the route that she does on her campus at George Mason U. On a visit this past weekend I finally complied with her wish. Now I know why she made so much progress in her 10K time last year. Hills. The run was a steady 1 mile down hill around the sports fields followed by the uphill return trip. It's certainly much tougher than running the indoor track at the Y. I'm still feeling that run in my hamstrings today.
