This is just my personal opinion based upon my own expriences with Atkins products, so take it or leave it.

The prepackaged Atkins stuff is not designed to help you lose weight, it's designed to keep you buying more Atkins products for a good long time to come. I'm sure it's okay to maintain weight, not so good for losing. And it makes financial sense for them to do it that way, though I think it's a bit lacking in the moral department.

But as with all processed and packaged prouducts it's vital that you read the label, the ingredients, and do your own carb count instead of relying on the showy front of the package.
