With those portions, you can certainly make it!

But, if you plug your actions into your proposed pyramid, how does it come out.

I think that that the normal portion for meats is 3 oz, and for some less fat kinds, 4 oz.

Like you, I eat 2 or 3 normal portions as one meal's share of a meat, or a cheese, and therefore I have no problem reaching the 2000+ I need for caloric intake every day.

I just think that the reality of normal portions requires that the meat/fats portion of that pyramid needs to move to the bottom rank, and provide the overall basis for a healthy, low carb way of eating.

Making green, leafy veggies your base will not get the job done, IMO.
