Luckily, cheese doesn't have that effect on me.

Luckily for us all, it seems that Peat is not all that rigid about many (any?) elements of his recommendations. I keep running into him saying (in effect) to do the best we can. He seems aware of individual circumstances, and allergies, and so on.

I have corresponded with him via email about my own problems and peculiarities, and though some things I eat/take I expected him to reply sort of "OMG, you can't eat/take THAT" which is the sort of thing I've gotten from other diet/health "gurus" over the years. He just gave me back suggestions to help where I am NOW. So that is becoming my focus, to do the best I can with his ideas, and not worry about where I can't follow him to the letter.
