Moderation in all things.

You don't need to push
your exercise program too
much til you are within 20
or 30 lbs of goal weight.

Right now, walking and gentle
leisurely rides on bikes for
about 45 minutes would
probably be good for you.

I say this from experience in
that I started riding my bike at
240 lbs. but I was slow as molasses
and it took all I could do to get down
the road a few miles in one piece. I picked
a safe route and worked up to a 10 miles
(slowly) even at that weight and from there on
I worked on my time for 10 miles.

Now I ride 15- 40 miles with ease at a much
faster rate. But remember, you want to protect
yourself from injury so you can enjoy the benefits
of exercise when you lose your weight.

Patience is the key. Hate to say it as I am a bit
compulsive myself, but it is true.
