St. Johns Wort and 5-HTP for fibros?
 

I just started supplementing my already large dose of supplements with St. Johns Wort and 5-htp.

Just wondering if anyone else does this and what i can expect and when do things start feeling better or what side effects are there?

i also take:
B complex
Magnesium
Calcium with vitamin D
Multi vitamin
thyroid helping vitamin (im hypoT)
green tea vitamin

I think the SJW made me jollier but it didn't really help with the joints and muscle issues. I am taking 5-htp too.

Right now I feel like I'm in remission but I think I give my diet credit for that. I think my joint/muscle issues were caused by my immune system going nuts from my food intolerances. At least, I hope that is it.

hay i used to be on St jhons wart a while ago and it didnt do a thing for fibro pain Nancy!! you are in Remission?????????????????????????????????????? How???????????? and how long have u been in remission for?? what meds are you on and what supplements are you on? and do you do any kind of exerise that helps ya fibro?? am housebound and have had fibro for 10 years now and every thing makes me bedridden!! and i have the SCD diet book from the libery looks tell me your Secret???
