Help!! Anyone have this problem while on Meat & Egg Fast

Hi guys,

This is a little bit embarassing but here goes. I've been reading that some people experience constipation while doing the fast. My problem is I've been completely the opposite for the last three days (DIO) :( . Sorry don't know how to say this more descretly. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to stop it? I've never taken anything for this problem so I have no clue. I'm making sure that I drink tons of water as to not dehydrate myself. Should I stop doing the fast? I'd really rather not.

Guys, I could really use all the help I can get, and fast. :help:

Thanks so much!

YES. I have done this before and in the beginning i could go like crazy b/c my body was losing water weight really quickly. The thing about the water weight loss is that it inevitably results in constipation. Your body needs water in order to be regular, so the answer: drink more water. If I were you, I'd do the following:
1. Eat some celery- I understand you are fasting, but you want to be able to go
2. Have a cup of regular coffee
3. take some psyllium husks
4. drink more water

Whatever you do don't take laxies.

I had this problem, but I do the m/e fast for longer than 3 days. I do it for about ten days, sometimes. The problem went away for me after about day five. I dont know what would cure it, but I assume the reason is a lack of fiber/solid type foods.

Oh, I noticed also it got better if I ate things like chicken and eggs instead of greasier food like hamburger.
