Slow cooker chicken liver recipe

On another thread someone mentioned a slow cooker recipe for chicken livers using bacon, onions and mushrooms - layered

The only recipe I could find that looked similar was on Pinterest using flour.

It sounded like an interesting way to cook chicken livers.

Does anyone have a keto friendly recipe?

It's not a slow cooker recipe, but this one from the Diet Doctor site is similar:

Chicken liver in mushroom sauce

Alternatively, use the recipe you have found, and just omit the flour.

I'm always looking for ways of adding organ meats to my menu. My wife makes a Filipino dish called Igado. A master at revising, she uses hamburger (instead of pork) and calves liver. Start with garlic &onions in evoo. Add hamburger, liver, (either onion or garlic powder), bell peppers. We cut up some garlic stuffed olives. I may have missed an ingredient or two. All made in a skillet. Very good. Topped mine with 3 eggs over easy and LC ketchup and homemade pesto. Yummy.

I just looked up recipes for this. It sounds great, and I have added it to my "offal" collection. I look forward to trying it. Thanks.
