(Re)Committing to 2 weeks of clean eating, starting 3/19

I am re-starting Induction today, would anyone like to join me? I will be doing two weeks of clean eating; no frankenfoods or alcohol, etc. I follow Atkins, but anyone who wants to commit to 2 weeks of starting fresh is welcome.

Post your starting weight, your weight as of today, the plan you are following, and when your 2 weeks will be up.

Murrie

Starting weight: 175
Today's weight: 175
Plan: Atkins Induction
Day: 1

CNYMom Mon, Mar-19-07 06:22

Since I somehow gained two pounds this week after eating Induction-level carbs for a couple of weeks (after a month of M&E), I'm going back to almost straight M&E as of this morning. (The only exception I make is cream in my coffee) I find it hard to believe I've gained two pounds, but they've been there a few days, so I'll accept them, I guess.

Anyway, here are my stats:

Starting weight: 187
Today's weight: 187
Plan: Meat & Eggs
Day: 1

Hopefully, two weeks like this will get me moving in the right direction again!

PS. The title of this thread threw me. I thought you started on the 9th!

Hi CNYMom

Thanks for joining me. It really helps to be accountable. I'm sure those two pounds (plus a few more) will be gone in no time!

There was a typo in the title- thanks for pointing it out. I AM just starting today.

hello day 1 for me today - I want to do proper induction with no alcohol/fake food.by the way how badis sit to have semi skim milk in 2 coffees a day?

I can't cope with cream and I hate it black.
Hope to lose half a stone but we'll see

I am female, 5 foot 5 and weigh 167 - goal of 133.

jamlam Mon, Mar-19-07 08:45

Count me in too! I've been on induction since February but have snuck in those so called Frankenfoods as well as a few cheats and my weight is not moving downward fast enough.
The more people I am accountable to the better!

Starting weight today- 150
Plan - Atkins induction with a little higher fat and less protein :)

Let's do it!!

Madihah1 Mon, Mar-19-07 08:48

This will be perfect for me. I'm really struggling to eat clean, this will help me be accountable.

Today's weight: 218.4
Plan: Kimkins

Count me in as well. I am having a hard time staying clean as well. I am doing strictly meat & egg. I have been on Atkins for a while and want to start clean today! Here's my menu for today:

B: 2 scrambled eggs w/4 slices of bacon
L: 2 HB eggs w/mayo & bacon bits
S: 2 fried eggs w/Hambuger patty( subject to change - Haven't had yet)

SW: 188.5
GW: 110

Work hard everyone!! We can do this!!

Can I join in?? I need accountability and support- I know that cannot do it alone.
Plan: Atkins
Starting: 185
Goal: 140
Day 1
Good luck everyone!!!

murrie Mon, Mar-19-07 20:44

Welcome everyone

I know we can all do this! keep telling myself that two weeks is not long at all.

MissyP- I'm not sure what semi skim milk is, but I know regular skim milk has lots of sugar. How much do you put in your coffee? If you can't do cream, maybe try whole milk? At least it has less sugar. I know for me personally, the sugars in milk would make me crave carbs and I would probably end up binging.

Hi All,

I am all in as well, it would be nice to see a 10lbs difference in two weeks, so for sure I am with you, but I will be going low carb.

Today's weight: 201

Day 2 - Nauseated, blah!

Didn't weigh today b/c TOM is here in full force but not kicking my butt!! I will weigh in on Friday. TOM should be on the way out by then. Did well last night. I had 1 grilled chicken & 1 grilled hambuger patty w/mayo. I am trying not to eat after 7 pm. I feel a little better since having my breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, 2 bacon & 1 sausage patty.

Have a great day! Talk to you all later.

I decided last night not to eat after 6pm, and ohh boy dont I feel great this morning, to be honest, I feel so great is like I lost 5lbs (lol).

I am keeping strong and focus for this week, as I am hoping to see a better result than last week (gaining 1lb), I exercise last night and I woke up and exercise this morning, and for sure I am going walking this evening, so far this morning I was very very very upset that I had to get up and exercise, but I know if I continue like this, next week this time I will be happy to wake up and exercise, I was so upset with myself that when I finished exercising, I took my clothes off and went straight back to bed.

I did not cook today, but I am not worried, I will just go to the restaurant next door and pick up some raw vegetables and stew chicken, that should do the trick this afternoon in the mean time I will have my tea and cocnut water for now.

CNYMom Tue, Mar-20-07 09:00

Morning all... I wasn't strict on M&E yesterday (had a small salad), but I feel great. Scale showed a half pound down this morning, not sure I believe that yet, but I'm not complaining. Spring is coming! But not today.

Starting weight: 187
Today's weight: 186.5
Plan: Meat & Eggs (sort of)
Day: 2

I walked two miles before work again today (WATP). Leslie Sansone reinforces my belief in mute buttons.

Madihah1 Tue, Mar-20-07 14:15

Didn't get a chance to weigh this morning.

Day started off pretty well but after lunch I slipped a little. I just wish I could get through 3 days of clean eating.

Starting weight: 218.4
Today's weight: 218.4
Plan: Kimkins
Day: 2
