Ketosis & Shingles
 

I found one post on here about someone getting shingles after doing Keto. I started a keto diet 3 months ago. 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with a severe case of shingles. Of course, any stress can cause shingles to surface, but I would like to say that I was really not stressed before the outbreak. Wondering if the ketosis was too stressful for my body. That is the only thing different I was doing. I was warned about potential kidney stones, so thought it was stones at first! Just wanted to point out my story in the off chance that someone else has experiences this.

It was probably just chance. And no, ketosis won't cause kidney stones.
