Finally bought a barbell and set of weights today. 6kg barbell, with 2 x 1.25, 2 x 2.5 and 2 x 5kg weights. The condescending prick who sold them to me seemed to think I wouldn't possibly need all those. I'm going to be torn between going back in a very short time to buy more, and going elsewhere so he doesn't get my business. :rolleyes:

Had a good workout, but was too pooped to do my biceps and forearms, so will revert to a split routine after today.

So, in 2005 I took 3 504 614 steps, for a distance of 1752.307 kilometres - taking me from Brisbane almost to Cairns.
My average daily steps for 2005 were 9602. Let's see if I can improve on that in 06.

An aborted workout today. I've been feeling exhausted all day, not really sure why. I've been getting plenty of sleep, and have taken no pain killers today either. Possibly because it's my 4th day on KISS? Whatever, I pushed myself to do the benches, but wound up wiped out, so stopped. Will try to do the arms tomorrow.

I really want to increase my walking, but I guess I have to stay within the limits of my pain. Considering what an effing horrid week this was, pain-wise, I'm pretty happy with my week's worth of steps.

But this coming week I am going to really, really try to approach 15 000 steps daily!!
