Whole Milk

I like whole milk. Any reason not to drink it?

Thanks

8 oz of whole milk has 11g carbs, so if you are on Induction Atkins 72, daily limit is 20g. Hard to fit it in if you follow all the induction rules, but if you are not so strict, enjoy.

Dairy stalls some people.

Too many carbs. My allotment to stay in ketosis is 20. Most days I'm way under that. And I'm down 65 pounds and holding for decades.

Dairy is a "controversial" category because some people find it's a real issue, and others get benefits without the drawbacks.

Add in the high carbs per cup, and it might be the first thing to look at if you run into trouble. I'm happy making hot chocolate with heavy cream and water instead of milk, which is another tactic.
