5 lb Challenge #328
 
Time for a new Challenge!

This is a challenge to lose 5 pounds at a time, hence the name "5 Pound Challenge."
Anyone can join at anytime.
Just copy the list and add your name to the list.
You use the start-weight from the day when you join this challenge
Start at 5.0 lbs to go
Move yourself up in the ranks accordingly.
When someone loses 5 lbs we have a WINNER! and start a new thread.
There can be more than one winner! Good Luck!

I shortened the rules back to what they used to be several years ago.
As with all our challenges, listing our weights has been on the honor system.
Recently In an effort to put up the next challenge as the winner of the lasat challenge, and have it ready for every one, I left out my weights but was told that is not in the rules , so my weight was posted for me.
In reality if I had posted my weights at the time of starting this challenge, My wieght would hae been quite high after an evening of binging on OP foods.

Given the circumstances, I am bowing out.

Figure my numbers should be todays starting numbers just like everyone else.
If I used last night numbers, at the time of opening this challenge, My number should be more like starting at 240 ....

Sorry that you feel the need to bow out. I haven't started this challenge in a while but when I started them a few years back, I made a point of always including the "winner" of the last challenge. That seemed to be the way it was done. I took it to be a sign of respect/admiration to the "winner" of the previous round.

I am still here, today is the anniversary of the passing of my husband, it has been three years since he passed and my son lost his father. I have been emotionally eating and have not weighed myself at my regular morning weigh in time but promise to be right here bright and early tomorrow morning to post what might be the "ugly truth". :help:
With the help of Susan, (Smullen some of you know her from previous challenges) I have been able to "talk it out" and feel better.
So as they say...onward and downward....

I know we're not supposed to gain weight for this challenge, but I did myself in with a binge of salty, crispy fried onions, the kind that's used as casserole topping--ugh! However, I got 2 miles of treadmill-walking done, so hope that offsets some of the damage, heh heh.

How does the rank work? Are you either 1 or 2, or a higher number if you gain like me?
