down 25 lbs. in 5 weeks/colon cleanse

Hi All
I did an xygen colon cleanse as part of my induction period and I went from TOTAL HORRIBLE constipation to losing SO MUCH of my belly and feeling SO energized! I wake up hyper when before I could barely get out of bed! Just thought I would share. (The cleanse cleaned out so much garbage from my system that I am now regular again even though I m still on induction. Toodles for now!

oxygen cleanse

Hi,
It's an oxygen cleanse whch liquifies the waste being stored in your ntestines (we all have it in there UUUUUUGHHHH!) The cleanse lasts 7 days and then you just take a couple capsules every other day for maintenance. I chose to do my cleanse with oxy powder. I tried taking tons of psyllium (which did not work well enough for me) before I discovered the cleanse. Hope that helps.

Where do you get something like this? I have seen others post about it, but I have never seen where they are found.

Melissa,

can you tell us what site you found it on? I would like to know about it also, sometimes I go over a week without things working and would love something like this.

You can buy similar stuff at any health food store.

Question for LillyLou

Hi LillyLou,

Does the colon cleansing give you diarreha for the entire time you take it? Do you need to stay home while you are on it in order to use the bathroom?

Thanks,
Becky

Why don't you just wait for it to come out normally?

MissScruff Sun, Feb-20-05 12:13

I just have one word...sick. Why not just take a laxitive? Probably cheaper and you'll get the same effect. I am sorry to sound so negative, but it cannot be good for ones colon to force it to expell in such a drastic way. I remember when I was a teenager that laxitive abuse was huge and dangerous and I would hate for newbies to this forum to think that this is an acceptable way to lose weight. Bottom line is that in order to lose weight and keep it off one needs to change their eating habits and exercise. There are no quick fixes and this one just screams bad to me. Please keep in mind that I am just responding to the colon flush and am in no way flaming anyone. Please be careful if you all are using this stuff and be sure to check with a doctor to make sure damage to the colon hasn't happened.

As the wife of a physician who regularly sees the interior of colons, there is no 'junk' that is stored in there. Our bodies are very efficient machines. No need to give yourself explosive diarrhea.

hockeymom Sun, Feb-20-05 12:40

I don't believe in quick fixes but I know I need something my machine doesn't work, I've tried the extra fiber, fish oil, fresh baby spinach. One time it was so bad I tried the colon clean they gave my dad before he had a colon exam and it didn't work. There are times I become very ill because of it. So if someone else has another idea I would love to try it. Sorry for sounding so rude, just need some help here.

Oxy powder colon cleanse....just look it up and it'll bring you to all the sites..I'm not looking for a quick fix either, but I can go 2 WEEKS without a BM, and if this will get me regular, why not try it....I don't want to have to start taking laxatives all the time.

You don't sound a bit rude...just desperate. Have you had your doctor check things over? Most unpleasant, but maybe you should. He might be able to pinpoint exactly what is going on. It sounds to me as though you are not getting something you need. Do you have IBS?? So many things can cause this and it's so frustrating, but don't try something like this...it sounds to me as though it is another form of laxitive abuse. Have you thought about opening a journal and posting your menus there?????? There are so many folks that can take that information and find something you have missed. I know if I don't eat enough veggies, and I am guilty of that, then I don't have regular bowl movements. And if I don't drink enough water in combination with lack of veggies or not enough. Anyhow, please open a journal and start posting your menus and lets see what it shows.
