Type I Diabetes and carb loading
 

Yesterday, on Twitter, a man said he was a Type I Diabetic, having a large bowl of cream of wheat before exercising. He bragged he was "carb loading."

I was shocked and suggested he read Wheat Belly and Volek and Phinney

He retorted he was following the advice of his diabetic nutritionists

Is this the kind of advice diabetic nutritionists are really giving?
