Can we use Splenda to make meringue?
 

I'm searching for recipes for Halloween themed baby shower my mom and I are hosting and have found lots of meringue type dessert recipes. Can we replace sugar with Splenda in meringues?

I'd like to try making ghosts or other recipes similar to this one: http://www.fabulousfoods.com/recipe...ngmeringue.html but use splenda and sugar free jello.
