Do the values for "seaweed, raw" mean dried seaweed, and are the amounts by weight?
If you don't mind a couple of questions:
1) Does raw seaweed mean dried or fresh from the ocean? 2) Are the measurements by weight or by volume? Thanks very much. |
If you go to the USDA food database and search for seaweed, you will get a list of several kinds of seaweed from which you can select the one you want. Some of them specify "dried" and others say "raw", so I would guess the raw ones are not dried. The link to the USDA site is below:
