CKD - Transformation In Progress!
Hello!
I am so glad I have found this forum. I've tried low carb in the past, didn't really understand the diet and suffered by not losing weight and just adding weight to my already obese bodyframe. I'm 23yo, 5'11'' and weight 275LBS. I had a drastic life changing surgery - Arachnoid Cyst - and because of a changing body chemistry, lifestyle changes, and turning 21 - my weight shot up. As I approach my 24th birthday in November, its time for a change. I've started my diet 4 days ago and am following the CKD, since I am going to start lifting again like I did years earlier. I need some general advice for my diet and maybe any recommendations on the lifting routine. I'm a member of Bodybuilding.com, but their Keto Forum really lacks. My diet: (Cals / F / P / C / Fiber) Breakfast - 6:30AM 3 Jumbo Eggs 3 Turkey Sausage Links 1oz Cheddar Cheese (510 / 34 / 44 / 4 / 0) Net Carbs = 4 Snack 1 - 9:30AM 1/4 cup Walnuts 1 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter (226 / 21 / 7 / 6 / 2) Net Carbs = 4 Lunch - 12:30PM 6oz Canned Tuna 2 Tbsp Mayo Mixed Salad / Spinach 15 Cucumber Slices 2 Tbsp Ceasar Dressing (670 / 42 / 57 / 24 / 15) Net Carbs = 9 Snack 2 - 3:30 1/4 cup Walnuts 1 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter (226 / 21 / 7 / 6 / 2) Net Carbs = 4 Dinner - 6.30 ~ 7:00PM 6oz Fresh Salmon 1 can Delmonte Green Beans Mixed Salad / Spinach 15 Cucumber Slices 2 Tbsp Ceasar Dressing (650 / 32 / 59 / 40 / 23) Net Carbs = 17 Total: (~2300 / 150 / 165 / 68 / 33) Net Carbs = 38 Any Ideas / Suggestions?? Thanks! |
Looks good to me! Cals might be a bit low to start, but I guess it will depend on what your carbup macros will be. Do you know your maintenance calories?
