BOBBY FLAY'S STEAK & RIB RUB

Hey I have a question. I have a jar of Bobby Flay's steak & rib rub. It says 6g carbs per 1 tbsp 2g of which are from sugar. I checked the ingredients and he doesn't use any fillers or starches. The only questionable item on the list is MUSTARD FLOUR which to me would be very finely ground mustard seeds. Other ingredients include ancho chiles, pepper, oregano, cumin, garlic, etc. So why so many carbs for just regular spices?

I'm not sure unless it's just the natural sugars in the plants themselves from which the spices are derived. Sorry I'm not better informed.

That seems a little odd. What's the fiber count?

I'll check on it and get back to you guys. I'm at the library. And yes it is very strange. I'm sure natural sugars and stuff are in the herbs & spices...but 6g worth? LoL. I'm not TOO worried cause I don't use a ton of it anyays. But still its wierd!
