What's up with the boards?? (Oct.20 & 21)
 

I'm having a very hard time reading and posting - I keep getting the message "server is too busy, try again later". I had to refresh over and over just to get here. Is this a temporary problem, or are they always bogged down like this now? (and yeah, I know this is the wrong section, but it's the only one I could get to)

It is very unusual. I have had the same problem accessing by cell phone. Switching to laptop worked but that could have been a coincidence.

It's a temporary problem. The site is normally very reliable and accessible.

Actually yesterday was 22,000 . Listed at very bottom of main page. Holy cow. But yesterday was not a problem.

I haven't had any problems myself, but that's really weird about the abnormally high "guest" activity.

Im having trouble getting on with my phone--took 3 tries to log in; but ok with laptop. Wondering if my phone picked up a virus ?

I think it was hit by bots the other day. It said there were 22,000+ on line at one time.

More today: Most users ever online was 21226, Fri, Oct-19-18 at 13:18.

WhaaaaaaT? That's just crazy, there's no way it's real people.
Are they trying to crash the site? Is that what happened a couple of weeks ago when it went offline for a full day?
