Any suggestions on ways to use this cheese?

It says just heat & eat but that sounds boring😁

I had to google garlic bread cheese as it's not something I've come across before.

However, according to Trader Joe's, it's similar to Halloumi, which I love.

There are several ways to cook Halloumi which could work for the garlic bread cheese. You can bake it, grill (broil) it, or fry it:

Baked: either put the whole block of cheese or thick slabs in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and your favourite herbs bake for 10 to 15 minutes in a medium-heated oven.

Grilled: cut into cubes and thread them on a skewer. Brush with olive oil and herbs and grill under a medium high heat for 5 to 10 minutes, turning frequently.

Fried: cut into slabs/sticks and pan fry each side for 1 to 2 minutes in a bit of olive oil over medium to medium-high heat.

Yum - that sounds great. I've had halloumi like Demi has, but I found it too salty for me. Paneer (widely available here) is my less-salty replacement. It's grillable, also.

My favourite thing to do with it - and the garlic flavour sounds perfect for this - is to slice it into sticks, pan-fry them on each side in a bit of butter or olive oil, and dip them in pizza sauce. They're a bit like deep-fried mozzarella sticks without the breading.

My pizza sauce recipe, if you can't find one with no added sugar:
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz, I believe - the little one)
- 1 tomato paste can of water (as if you're making condensed soup)
- 1/8 tsp each basil, garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp oregano
- 1 packet Splenda (or other sweetener of choice)

This sauce freezes well.
