Beginning to wonder if I'll ever get back to averaging 10 000 steps a day! I did fairly well this week, but had "too much" pain courtesy of the arthritic hips the last few days. Makes it hard to walk when every step hurts. :(
At least I'm feeling a little better today - well enough to attack the weights shortly.

Just noting for the record... Today (Thursday) I've had a lot more back pain than usual (a lot!!) which I suspect could be because I've overdone the weights a tad. When I switched to full body workouts, I started at 2 days a week, then was planning to do it MWF. Worked out last Sat, then, Mon and Wed but today I am in some distress. So this is to remind myself that I must either do the 2 days a week, or 1 on, 2 off. Either way I won't be doing anything until the current pain has settled dramatically...

I have decided to change my routine back to split days. I think I was just getting too tired at the end if the full body workout to put everything into the last couple of exercises, so with any luck, I'll achieve a bit more with a split routine.
For now, I shall aim at an upper and lower routine with 1 day a week off. But of course my workouts are so often put aside when my back is just too sore, so we shall see.

Well, another bout of diverticulitis hit on Wednesday night, so it will be a few more days before I resume the weights. :rolleyes:

I started this week determined to reach 12K steps per day. Just as well I started well, because despite taking very few steps the last few days, I still averaged >10K!

It's been another grim old week with too much back pain. :rolleyes:
I have at least recommenced the back exercises, although am doing them fairly gingerly as yet.

Am pushing myself to keep moving though. Didn't manage the 10K steps again, but considering what a horrid week it has been - complete with a doozy of a migraine - I'm pretty happy to have averaged >8000 steps daily.

Pretty average sort of week again. But at least I reached Townsville. :thup: Am now heading for Cairns, which is 349 kms from Townsville.
And for the record, Brissie to T'ville is 1435 kilometres, which means I have taken >2,870,000 steps so far this year. :D
