Sounds great. Thinking about my Thanksgiving menu this year as my first LC Thanksgiving. So I am definately going to give this a shot. Thank you!

cranberry sauce

Thanks so much for this recipe! I love canning, jam, preserve, and relish making. Finally, a new sugarfree one I can make.
You have made my day!

Sounds good. I hope that I can find the splenda vanilla syrup. I have never seen this before.
Thanks for the recipe!

Hi Thanks for posting the recipe! But I have to ask what clear gel is. Help!

LC cranberry sauce is really easy to make! :)

1 package cranberries
3/4 cup water
1 tsp orange zest (I rarely have an orange around, so use orange extract just until I can slightly detect the flavor)
AS equivalent to 1 cup sweetness, or to taste (add extra a little at a time, if you like)

Put berries and water in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce the heat and boil until berries pop.

Add sweetener, let cool, then refrigerate. I have found that this sauce sets up just fine, without anything special added to make it jell. :)
