Thanks to Valtor and everybody helping us with this. The petition will be the first in a series of programs to try to open up debate in the scientific medical world. The past few months have seen a rash of papers which are of very low quality in otherwise reputable journals and many researchers take this as a very bad sign and we are trying to fix things. It will be, however, one of the movements where the end-users, people with personal experience, will have to reform the experts.

Thank you!

Many thanks to all of you who have helped the Metabolism Society by signing this petition. We will present it to our govenrment officials and use it in every way we can to help people with diabetes. We are aware that so many of the signatures and comments came from people in this forum - please know we are truly appreciative.
The voice of the general public may just be the most important factor in the paradigm shift that is taking place and we urge you to continue using your voice & your experiences to help make this shift happen.
Thank you all!
