Nose to Tail Eating
For anyone who has been following the Organuary 2020: Minimise Waste, Maximise Nutrition, or is perhaps interested in nose to tail eating, I though it would be good idea to link to it here.
I thought we could carry on the challenge of eating organ meats etc., throughout the year and to share any recipes, ideas etc. |

Sadly, organ meats except liver, have disappeared from all local groceries. Takes a trip out of town to find options.
Years ago we ate deer heart... available due to fall deer hunting......should work in the above recipe. |
I eat liver all the time. Fry it in coconut oil or tallow is all I do.
