You show us that it is possible to lose it and to keep it off, and maintain over the long haul!! That is the whole deal for me. No sense in even doing this if it isn't a new way of living and eating!

Back to losing again and am happy to say that today, 3/15/2008, I've reached the 120 lbs total loss. Today I weighed in at 154 lbs. I'm recommitted to getting to 150 lbs.

Next month is my 4 year anniversary of the start of this leg of my weight loss/management journey. :cool:

You are very encouraging to a lot of people who have become frustrated with their weight and attempts at weightloss but did not believe they could do anything about it, myself included. When I fisrt started SBD I got to a point where I was not losing weight but was following plan, thanks to yu and all the SBDers on this forum, I have discovered my mistakes(bread is one) and this time I know I will keep going, been on for 4 days and going strong. Thank yuo so much you are an inspiration to a lot of people. :thup:

I think I'm close in age to you - I just turned 57 in July with about 140 to lose. Just when I'm getting down, having started again for the millionth time, I saw your success story! Thanks so much for writing it and updating as well. You look so vivacious now (and younger too).
