Chocolate Pots
175g dark choc (use good LC choc)
250ml cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (I actually like to use seeds scraped from vanilla pod instead)
1/4 tsp allspice
1 egg
8 x pots
Crush the choc to smithereens (as Nigella Lawson puts it - she has to take credit for most the recipe, I've just adapted it). Heat the cream until almost boiling, add vanilla, allspice and pour onto choc (Nigella uses the food processor but I find mine's not booty enough to do it so smash with rolling pin in a plastic bag first, then put it in the processor). Let it melt for 30 secs (give or take) and process until smooth for 30 secs, crack the egg into it and process until combined, about 45 secs.
Pour into whatever pots serving in (we've got little demi tasse cups so it makes heaps) and chill for 6 hrs or over night. Take out 20 mins before using so the chill is taken off. Divine!!!!! Awesome for a dinner party or just cause you're feeling decadent.
I got this from a recipe from another NZ site from a lady named Joce
