Hi..new to this site. I'm so excited to see a low-carber site as I've been doing Atkins for 1 1/2 mos. I'm doing pretty good with it but at a stand still for now. I cheated last week with a piece of cheesecake!! yum! Then went right back to induction. I have so much energy all the time..in fact I have a hard time sleeping. Anyone have these problems? I am only hungry at meal times instead of "all the time" and I know my health is improving. I had really high dangerous blood pressure and diabetes symptons. My blood pressure has finally dropped quite a bit and now I don't feel that fatigue after eating carbs. I will do low carbing for the rest of my life. I started 4 times just to get it right so don't give up and WATCH THOSE CARBS! They are everywhere! :roll:

Hi Arizonafly

Glad to see that you have joined the forum. Looks like you have been doing well over the last month. Congratulations.

Look around this site it will give you plenty of information and advice to keep you on the straight and narrow as well as lots of recipes to try.

Why not make your own cheesecake, then you know its legal.

Glad you are feeling more energetic, I certainly need less sleep, but do not have any trouble drifting off at the appropriate time.

Looks like your doing great, I like your positive attitude. great for with this WOE.
It really helps so much to keep tract of your food by keeping a journal. http://forum.lowcarber.org/announcement.php?s=&forumid=111. Then try using fitday.com to monitor your carbs. It helps as well.
