hi!

i'm on day 2 of low carb - eating only proteins and veggies.

2 questions:

1. anyone here also part of OA?
2. how long until the sugar cravings pass?

I don't know what OA is so I can't answer that one.

The sugar cravings will pass. I dealt with it by using a lot of artificial sweetners, drinking sweet 'diet'drinks and making sugar free jelly (I think you call it jello). other people choose to abstain from anything sweet and do it that way.

Also the cravings will pass but your sweet tooth may be more difficult to get rid of. I've been on this diet over a year and I still enjoy sweet things...although the source of that sweetness is now artificial.

Glad you are in this site. It is very sapportive I found. Especially if you start a journal It really helps so much to keep tract of your food by keeping a journal. Plus you will have visitors to support you in your WOE like us all we are all in the simular wave link when it comes to are LC eating. http://forum.lowcarber.org/announce...s=&forumid=111. Then try using fitday.com to monitor your carbs. It helps as well.
