hi Tama,

You sure sound motivated to me .. :D .. Those food counters will really help you to see where the carbs are!

I'm not sure if you actually have a copy of Dr. Atkins' book the "New Diet Revolution"?? I'm sure it's probably hard to get in Malaysia .. It really helps to have the book, or at least some reading and detailed instructions about lowcarbing. Here are a few links to some good reading and information that you might find helpful. Click on the topics to read our very own Tips pages - Lowcarb Basics (http://www.lowcarb.ca/tips/tips004.html) and Frequently Asked Questions (http://www.lowcarb.ca/tips/tips005.html)

Click here (http://www.titanic.kn-bremen.de/induction.html) for straightforward lists of what you can eat during the 2 weeks of Induction. If a food isn't on the list, you don't eat it. ;)

Click on Jazz Up Your Induction (http://www.lowcarb.ca/tips/tips001.html) to read some delicious quick menu ideas from our very own gourmet chef, Karen Barnaby.50 lbs isn't impossible to do ... but it might be helpful right now at the start to just make mini-goals, say 10 lbs at a time. That makes it seem so much more achievable. I am in the middle of trying to lose at least 65 lbs. myself ... I've lost 30 so far. I don't dwell on the remaining 35 to 40 lbs. Instead, I keep my sight on the next 10 lb goal... I want to get below 180. Then, my goal will be to get below 170. --- and so on.

Hope this helps, take care .. :)
