I found another great way to get some fiber without giving up carbs. I can no longer use flax seeds because every time I do my goiter puffs out and it effects my Hashi's!
On the about thyroid site I found out about chia. It's awesome and easily fits in with my foods. I mix it up with my egg salad, tuna salad, whip cream.
Once moistened it's gelatinous quality!
