Hi everyone, just finished reading some of the threads in the intros. I started Atkins on June 4/02 and have lost 14 pounds so far. I feel great, never hungry and think I can stick to this no problem. I have more energy and can notice the weight loss already. I have a long way to go though so we'll see what happens. Actually a diabetes specialist MD told me to try Atkins so that's why I'm here now. I hope things continue as easily as they have been so far.

Hi, Debbie :wave: I'm Melanie, I am so glad you found this site, you will not beleive all the support to be found. I am doing Atkins and have been on it since May 1, and have lost 15 pounds, so you are doing great. I am like you, I love this diet, it is so easy, and you can eat. Dont have to be hungry all the time. Have you thought about starting a journal, it is a great way to keep track of everything, and also others can pop in and help you along with your diet. It has been a real help for me. I wish you all the best with your diet. And hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.... Thanks for the response. I haven't been keeping a journal but I will check it out. Are you sticking to Atkins rigidly or are you on the OWL already? I'm so pleased with my weight loss I'll stay on induction as long as I can. Talk to you again.
