I am doing the Atkins diet but I want to do it correctly. I would like help in knowing the "meat" of it. Like, for instance, how many tablespoons or teaspoons can you use of mayo, of butter? I would like the details of what to do. I already know what to eat, I just need to know the amounts that are acceptable. Thanking you all in advance!

I started here and have not varied much from it other than reducing the dairy and vegetable oils I eat. Some poop-poop the website but it was helpful for me and I am grateful for it being available online. https://www.atkins.com/how-it-works/atkins-20/phase-1/low-carb-foods

With a username like "annoyed" hopefully you're looking for an anonymous answer. You just got one ;) and hopefully it's helpful.

A book would probably be good too. You could start with this one maybe: https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Atkins-Diet-Revolution-Robert/dp/0553271571/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1492126324&sr=8-4&keywords=atkins+72

I don't follow the Atkins plan so I'm now expert or have any experience with it tho.

Welcome,
Also, in the sticky right at the top of the Atkins forum, is the 2002 edition Atkins diet summarized including allowed amounts of cream, cheese, etc. Butter does not have a limit, but as with all fats and oils...only use the amount needed to avoid hunger. Don't force the fat.

No problem staying at induction levels until close to goal.
