I moved to SG in 2011 and had my weight under control ~210 but now need some serious guidance to get back on the Low Carb way of life again. No excuses this time; keto sticks ordered and ready to roll :)

Welcome back

The Keto sticks are not necessary to LC success or fat loss... but whatever ...if they help you stay on track. They can motivate more in the early phases of the diet.

You have found a great forum for "serious guidance"...look around the various sub-forums, read back through threads, ask questions. You might enjoy the Research and Media section.

All the best,
Ps: I was a forex corporate advisor in London and NYC back in ancient history,
No stone tablets, but did use Telex for some deals
Be sure to incorporate stress relief! There are many free mediation podcasts. Or walk outside listening to any podcasts, many LC and Paleo podcasts to support your new lifestyle.

Thx JEY100

I did a VLCD ( Dr Bernstein when working in Toronto ) back in 2008 and became boarder line compulsive with the " Stix ", so I understand where you're coming from, but I need that purple motivation to keep me in the zone.

It's a bit of a challenge sticking to LC in SG as it's a bit of a party town with limited reasonably priced LC options( unless you look hard) as most menus are very Asiacentric carb loaded noodle and rice dishes. Very easy to go off the rails.

However., we've found the local Wet Markets offer a panacea of fresh Proteins and lots of other LC options. No idea why it took five years to figure that out :D

It's early days, but with 15 days alcohol-free and only 3 sugar-free days, I'm feeling better already.

Nice to have another " Forexer" on the message board  BTW I remember the Telex also hahah
