I'm really happy to have found this site as I think I could do with comparing notes, would like to make friends and I have been low carbing for 5 months now, so maybe I can offer some support to others too. So the good news is that I have reversed my type 2 diabetes, diagnosed last October and down from an hba1c of 49 to 37 with no meds. But I've stopped losing weight and am feeling down as I have really embraced the LCHF diet. Would be good to find out if anyone else is facing any setbacks and how they got over them.

Welcome And Happy Easter to you, Kazz,
You have found some of my favorite resources on -line and congratulations on reversing diabetes ( are you in the UK?). Look all around the various sub-forums here, there are buddy groups that may help you, or you may want to start a journal. Keep up with the diabetes forum too. http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=45
Have you tried a "re-do" of DietDoctor's 2 week low carb challenge? That is similar to Dr Westman's clinic program, might be a restart to get weight loss going again? Or are you doing IF? What have you tried already to continue weight loss? And we all go through plateaus, rarely is weight loss a straight line down, please don't consider this a "setback". Here are some other ideas: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=460202 (plus more in that sub-forum)
All the best,
