Thursday is my cholesterol and thyroid test,, my doctor added fasting insulin and c-peptide (my request) and I have a concern. My blood fasting is my highest level (curse you dawn effect), how will this fact effect my blood test?

You need to be fasting to get an accurate insulin test. Otherwise it is influenced by what you last ate. Despite what your BG is in the morning, the fasting insulin tests tells you how insulin resistant you are.
