Hi! My name is Vicki, I'm 53 years old, married with cats, and I live in New York State. My stats are 275/242/140 and BF 48%/41.1%/20%. My goal is to be "fit by age 55", 12/18/03, because I just don't want to miss out on anymore activities because I'm fat. I want to be active and athletic!
I posted an introduction and some questions at the Introduction Section of the main forum and I got some really good answers (thanks to MARLAINE, KAREN B, and NAT !!!). Rather than repeat the questions, if any of you want to comment, please check out "New here and I have some questions" at the main introductory site. Thanks in advance for your help.
I've tried tons of diets and not many exercise programs. Usually I quit what I start within a few days. I love BFL (I'm on C4 W10 D1). although I lose weight slower than most, and I'm trying to find out why. I don't believe it's the exercise---I'm working my butt off (except for the past week when I was pouting). I think it's the way I eat and I'm looking at the possibility of trying a higher protein, lower carb approach while continuing BFL. I "met" Nat at a BFL site, was very interested in the way she eats, and she wisely suggested I come here.
I've been browsing this weekend and like what I've seen. I think I can learn alot from you guys and maybe share a little of what I've learned. Can I join the party?
Comments/criticism/advice/whatever are always welcome. Nice to meetcha! :wiggle: Vicki.
