I had noticed some blurry vision problems before being diagnosed with T2, figured it might have been related to working in front of a comp all day again. It went away after starting LC/meds and getting my BG numbers under control.

Today, while driving to church - everything was blurry though. I wasn't able to check my BG - waiting on new strips to come in. As day went in, it seemed to go away. Cause for concern? Have to admit that I haven't been to an eye doctor in years, but haven't really had a reason to till now. I do plan on going soon.

Unsure about blood sugar, hope others will comment. And I know you are going to think, not her again, blaming everything on statins. But Blurry Vision IS a side effect of Simvastatin. http://www.drugs.com/sfx/simvastatin-side-effects.html. Controversial how much impact. http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/430792/Thousands-at-risk-of-losing-their-eyesight-by-taking-statin-pills

But if you haven't been to an eye doctor for a while, do so now and have your eyes dilated so doctor can check inside carefully for damage.

Well, no, I don't think that - not yet, anyway - ha. I didn't realize that with the statins. Ugh! And no it's been years and years! Probably like 20 since I've been to an eye doc. I want to go - other expenses just have gotten in the way.

There can be different causes of blurry vision, some benign, some not. It is a good idea to get that checked once in a while.
