I did it. I made it from Thanksgiving to the New Year and even lost a couple of pounds. I baked 4 kinds of cookies and 3 kinds of pie. I missed the mincemeat and the apple pie so, I had a couple of spoonsful of mincemeat and I made applesauce to go with my pork roast. That's it! No other temptations.
I planned for parties by eating carefully the rest of the day and allowing myself an extra 10 grams of carbs. I had a couple of weeks with no losses, which did not shock me, and a couple of weeks with small losses which I regarded as a bonus. Now, back to normal.
