Heya,
Am an active advocate of low carbing. I inhabit various diabetes forums, FB, and G+, and I've written and mosted wuite a bit about it. I read a lot of online material and follow major bloggers.
I've found HFLC works very well for me, but only to a point for weight loss. I'm a type 1 diabetic, and I believe my lack of amylin plays a role in me making more sugar thru GNG. I've tried to get GLP-1 meds like Victoza, but it doesn't seem possible here in Canada. My Endo doesn't believe on low carb and refuses to talk about it. Don't bother with suggestions to change. This is a socialist country.
I'd love to chat with other type 1's.
