Has anyone ever used Spectrum margaine/spread? It claims to not contain trans fats. I saw it when Dr.Weil / Rosie Daley were promoting their new cookbook on 'Oprah'. Of course Dr . Weil recommends watching intake of saturated fats.
I just wondered if anyone has any comments on it and how it may/may not go along with Dr.S advice?

It depends on what else it contains. A lot of margarines simulate the great taste and texture of butter with carbs and other assorted nasties.
At the end of the day, why have a manufactured product when you can have natural fats like cold pressed oils, extra virgin olive oils and real butter?
