I have been on the low carb diet for 6 days. I started at 268 lbs and I want to lose 75 lbs. I have always eaten way more food than other people, but I wasn't obese, until recently. One big problem is that I love beer. I like trying new and different kinds of beer. I especially like dark, imported draft beer. I like food that goes well with beer, like steak nachos, pizza, wings, etc. I'm planning on giving these goodies up, until I lose the weight. I don't think I want to give them up permanently.

From what I've seen and read here, you either give it up, or gain it back. I bey to be corrected, in my case its milk, not beer.
