I know most of it was water. I also heard that 3-5 lbs can be undigested food
that was sitting in your colon. However, I saw significant fat lost on my waist
because I can see something resembling a six pack. LOL.

I've been on the induction phase of over 1 month. I lift weight regularly
(I think I've gained a few lbs of lean muscle and so this limited further weigh loss)
I was also doing slow cardio until I discovered HIIT the other day.

I basically went from 187 lbs to 167. I'm still 4 lbs overweight according to the
BMI tables.

I would like to lose 12-17lbs more by Christmas, but it's going to be hard because
I'm moving out of the induction phase and I just started hitting the
legumes today. I really miss eating Bread, Rice and my favorite food (Pizza)

If anyone has any suggestions how I can speed up the fat loss, it would be
very much appreciated. This is the first time I have ever done any Diet in my
life. I never realized that I was so hooked on Carbs. It's very very hard, but
i want to live a healthy lifestyle.

Hi Hocuspocus! I agree its very hard and I miss the breads and rice and pastas too! But this site has helped me keep motivated and putting what I miss in the back of my mind and I find myself not dwelling on it all the time anymore. I wish you the best of luck and cant wait to see your progress!

Welcome and congrats on losing 20 lbs!!! Here is a link to the breads recipe section of Linda's LC site, and to the main section on here too. Recipes seem to make LC easier to do. There are some recipes for noodles, and riced califlower too. I hope this helps you, good luck.
