April 21... I dont know how it happened but I gain weight. I was enjoying carbolite bars and went out of ketosis, so I cut them out and it took forever to get back in. I have since gained a few pounds and seem to have stalled out at 136. last night I hit the large ketosis color on my strips and after eeekkking up on it I would have thought I had lost those pounds but no.... I wonder if I'm not drinking enough water? I found i could drink decaf coffe with splenda and heavy cream and make the large ketosis, but could this be the cause of the stall? Maybe I'm not giving it enough time... Patience is not on of my virtues :D

Sunriser, the cream in your coffee could account for some of the color on the stix. Sometimes dietary fat shows up there.
But I'm wondering if you are eating enough. You have just started the diet and sometimes after the ketosis kicks in, you just aren't hungry and feel like you must force yourself to eat. It is really important that you eat enough, because if you don't you will go into a starvation mode and your body will stop losing. It wants to hold onto every bite you feed it. Then if you eat more one day, it may also hold onto that thinking it may be weeks before it will get the chance for the extra food again.
I am talking from experience here. I have been on this woe since Jan 9 and I was losing very slowly. I lost 12 lbs and was thrilled, but then it stopped. I'd gain one week, lose the next, then gain again. It was suggested to me that I needed to up my calories and when I did, I gained 6 lbs back. I was devastated and ready to give up, but the support of people here kept me going. It took 4 weeks of keeping those calories higher until I lost again.
Not only did I lose, but I feel wonderful.
I don't know if you have found fitday.com, but that is a site that many of use to keep track of our food intake. It is a free site and all you do is enter the foods you eat, alter the portions to the portion you eat and it will compute calories, fats, carbs, proteins, percentages, etc. It even gives you a pie chart to see at a glance how you are doing.
Don't give up. It will work.
