:wave: Hello everyone! I have been watching these boards for a few weeks. I am convinced that LC WOE is the way to go after reading "Good Calories/Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes.
I am 55 yrs old and have not been able to control my weight since menopause. LC is the only thing that works for me and it is still slow going. It is interesting how people look at you when you remove carbs from your diet, if they knew how bad they are for you, they would do so too. I am teaching my teenagers the dangers of over carbing, but right now they can eat anything and not gain weight. I am in my second week of Atkins Induction and I am amazed at my lack of appetite, lowered fatigue, and abilility to lose weight! The thing I miss the most is my glass of vino each evening!!
These boards are just what I need to keep me going, especially when you are surrounded by carb addicts. Thanks for all the encouragement, tips and success stories you provide to all of us!
