Hey folks,
Not sure if there are any low carbers still around from 2005 when I was here last but I wanted to re-introduce myself back to the board and Atkins back into my life!
I've had a rough couple years. I met this guy Kevin who at first was a wonderful guy, but we developed terrible habits with each other and my life and relationship began to fall apart. Exactly a year ago, May 27 2007, I came home after escorting my mom to Edmonton to have her bladder tumor removed, when he shocked me by saying he was leaving me.
Since then, my cat of 9 years died and he started dating a friend of mine. They both live in our small city of 19K and I woke up today not even remembering it had been a year since he left.
I am determined to get back to the size I used to be. I've gone from 168 to 242 lbs and I am so unhappy and unmotivated. I've tried low fat and just ended up with bad bingeing habits. It's time to start my life over again.
I hope to get a lot of support from my old lc pals and also meet some new people and make friends!! It's time for some closure on all the bad stuff that's happened and time to move on to a new life once again.
