2/3 c 100% soy protein isolate
3 T cocoa
3 Large eggs
1 t baking powder
1/4 c vegetable oil
4 T splenda
1 T peanut butter melted with the oil

Stir dry ingredients together
Beat wet ingredients together, adding dry ingredients. Add enough water to get a thick paste.

Spread in a sprayed loaf pan.

Bake 15 min at 350 degrees F.

Cut 4 bars

t = teaspoon
c = cup

Play with the recipe. I used soy milk instead of water. I'm allergic to cows milk, but the soy has sugar. I added enough to make it closer to cake batter than paste. I also added things like ground flaxseed, ground carrot, bran. My dh nixed adding apple, but I think it would have been great! Once I even greased the pan using crisco and dusted with cocoa. The soymilk added more fat, and the vegetable oil wasn't quite enough. Enjoy. :)

Hi. These bars sound really good, but what is the carb count? Can't seem to see it on this receipe? Thanks Suzanne
