Try flavoured nori (seaweed pressed into sheets)!
It is salty, thin, and crispy and comes in pre-cut foil packs.
The type I buy had this nutritional info:

Ingredients: seaweed, salt, rapeseed oil, sesame oil.
Serving size 0.07oz./2.1g
Calories 10
Total fat 0.5g
Saturated fat 0.3g
Cholesterol 0.0g
Sodium 74.3mg
Total carbs 0.8g
Fiber 0.04g
Sugars 0.03g
Protien 0.53g
It also has vit. A, C, calcium, and iron (small amounts)

This is Korean nori, BTW, which traditionally has sesame oil. Japanese nori also comes flavoured, just watch out for sugar (like in the teriyaki kind.) Check labels!

For anyone in the southern UK, I found it easily in New Malden (my favourite store is Intel) which has a large Korean community.

I read a recipe, i think it was in Low carb cookbook by fran mccullough for a recipe for cheese crisps

Grate some of your favorite cheese (they used gouda) sprinkle over a baking sheet and drop on each piece of cheese a cumon seed. put into a hot over until melts. remove, leave to cool and you get (greasy!) curry-ish cheese crisps.

very low carb.

Not quite the same - but makes an intresting change.

also remembered that a pack of Quavers contain 14g of carbs - have not had any, but it could make an occasional treat

Hiya,

Also check out Asda's own brand crisps.
Even lower than Quavers at 12g per packet for most flavours.
A great treat if you have some of your daily carb allowance left.
Tomato sauce flavour - Mmmmmmmm!!!
