ok,
I have a gripe.
I do ALOT of grilling. I love it. Pork chops, chicken, steak.
I can not figure out, what is a steak on that list. I see Porterhouse, and I see T-Bone, but I dont see any others. no new your strip, or sirloin, or anything, and what I usually make they just call a charcoal steak....so how do I figure that?

Also, all the meats can be broiled, or fried, or roasted.....where is grilled?

and lastly, what category would I find boneless, skinless chicken breast.

I am not trying to be a pain, I want to use the tool here rather than some other one...but I need it to be user friendly.

sorry if I came across as a (-------)

No need to be sorry, I see your point. The entries come from the USDA database, and it's limited by the data they provide. Hopefully newer versions of the database will improve the selection.

The same cut of meat can have several different names. If the cut you're searching for doesn't show up, Google it to see what the other names are and search for those in My P.L.A.N.

Grilling and broiling can be considered (for nutritional purposes) the same.

Boneless skinless chicken breast is under something like "chicken breast, meat only". Try making searches less specific.

It took me a while to figure out that the USDA database did not list eggs; they list egg. Entering eggs did not match anything.
